Senior Customer Success Manager to Alva Labs
The average recruiter spends around 7 seconds screening a CV. That is equivalent to the time it takes to get a first impression of someone at a party. In both scenarios the human brain simplifies things, making us focus on certain aspects. The only difference in first impressions through CVs and during a party, is that the CV screening impacts people’s lives. It leads to some people being shut out from the job market, and others being hunted down by everyone, regardless of understanding if that particular person is actually suitable for the job or not.
Armed with research, machine learning and a revolutionizing SaaS tool, Alva Labs is disrupting the hiring scene. We are now looking to add another Senior Customer Success Manager to the team, to make sure our customers move towards a brighter hiring future.

Alva Labs is a Stockholm-based SaaS company that offers a solution that is helping global companies grow their team in a scientific way. Alva has created a unique candidate assessment platform that helps companies build their organizations with the right people in the right place. Combining state-of-the-art psychometrics, data science, and an obsession with candidate experience, it provides the needed tool for data-driven talent acquisition. Alva has been growing 2-3x per year (in terms of people, users, and customers) and is in the exciting phase to launch our product in new markets.
Our main focus as of now is to continue our international expansion into new markets and to make the next big product bet that will revolutionize how the world views talent. By broadening our product scope we believe that we will have an even stickier offering for our customers and will be able to add value to even more hiring managers, recruiting for a larger range of roles. We have also recently launched a new monetization model designed to facilitate land and expand motions with customers. It's an exciting time at Alva!
Customer Success is the beating heart at Alva. It is the team that works closest with our customers, that has the richest insights to share with our Product team on how to solve the hiring problem, as well as the team with the most know-how on bridging the gap between science and practice. You'll be in great company.
As the department matures, we are building out meaningful and exciting processes that help us and our customers to work better. You will spend a chunk of your time collaborating with your Alva teammates to drive this change.

Cultivate and develop relationships with our customers' decision makers and key stakeholders – ensuring Alva is seen as a strategic recruitment partner rather than just a software vendor.
Comfortably interact with stakeholders at all levels - profoundly understanding your customers’ objectives, challenges, and expectations.
Drive adoption and usage of Alva to unlock upsell opportunities
Have a diverse portfolio of customers traversing sectors, size and markets, as we are expanding into new markets.
What to expect from your first months?
Research shows (did we mention we love science?) that it’s crucial to get a good start when changing jobs. During your first months with us, your main focuses will be;
Receiving a full overview of how the product works and how we approach CS at Alva so you can have success in your role.
Shadowing your colleagues' meetings and picking up customers of your own.
Upskilling yourself by contributing to Key Projects both in CS and across our commercial teams.
Getting to know the team – there'll be no shortage of social occasions!
We obviously believe in finding the right person, rather than the right CV. That said, some things would make us really happy;
If you have solid experience working with psychometric assessments. Either in a role as Talent Acquisition Partner, HR Specialist, Psychologist, Customer Success Manager, or similar.
If you already have a background in Customer Success.
We are proud to represent eighteen (and counting!) nationalities at Alva and – given our ambitious expansion plans – written and verbal fluency in English is a must. For this position, Swedish is also a requirement.
