Alva Labs is a Stockholm-based B2B SaaS company that offers a talent assessment platform. We help our customers grow their teams in a scientific and data-driven way. By combining world-class psychometrics, modern tech, and a fantastic user experience, we’re redefining how hiring should be done.

We’re about 60 people today, with a strong footprint in Sweden and growing presence internationally. Our product is used by companies that want to hire more fairly, effectively, and inclusively.

The Role

As our Legal Counsel, you’ll work across the company, supporting our legal needs while getting hands-on experience in everything from privacy questions to contracts and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with our CIO, COO, CPO, sales, and product teams—so you’ll never be working alone.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Support on legal matters: Help review contracts, policies, and other legal documents.

• Work with compliance: Learn and support how we handle safe AI, privacy and information security as well as accessibility.

• Assist in contract reviews and negotiations: With customers, partners, and suppliers.

• Be part of building legal processes: Help improve how we work with legal in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate with external advisors: When needed, help manage our legal advisors.

You

We’re looking for someone with a few years of experience who’s now ready to take the next step in-house at a tech company. To thrive in this role, we believe you:

• Have a law degree and a couple of years’ experience from a law firm or working in-house

• Are curious about tech, SaaS, and how the legal function supports fast-growing businesses

• Are comfortable working with contracts and corporate law, and eager to grow your skills in regulatory compliance

• Are detail-oriented and structured, but also practical and solution-focused

• Are interested in growing with us and, in time, expand our legal department

• Are fluent in both Swedish and English

Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to data protection or a B2B SaaS environment—but it’s not a requirement.
